Arvelon Is Going PInk

Breast cancer is the most common cancer that affects Pakistani women. Did you know that, as of 2022, 109 women die every 24 hours due to breast cancer alone in Pakistan? Over 40,000 deaths a year with an addition of 90,000 new breast cancer cases annually is a matter of serious concern for us as a nation.

According to the cancer registries in all major cities, breast cancer affects women of all ages; it can strike a woman in her middle years as well as a person as young as 20. Unfortunately, breast cancer still does not receive the status of a healthcare emergency due to other life-threatening diseases in the region. On top of that, awareness efforts are either nonexistent or only partially effective.

In a situation like this, it is essential to have the skills to test oneself for symptoms at home. However, while breast cancer puts women most at risk of breast cancer, they lack the education and the basic skills to carry out a breast self-exam. To make the situation worse, they even lack the awareness to get regular check-ups. Like all other diseases, better awareness about the symptoms of breast cancer and early detection can lower mortality rates and increase the survival percentage. It is important to keep in mind that the prognosis and survival rates for breast cancer are higher in developed nations due to prompt diagnosis and treatment, whereas in nations with less funding and awareness campaigns, most women in the metastatic or advanced stage ultimately face poor outcomes.

The ‘Arvelon Cares’ project strives to assist the citizens of Pakistan while also giving back to the community that has helped us along the road. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Arvelon Cares is launching an educational campaign that focuses on breast cancer awareness and urges both men and women to keep an eye out for breast cancer signs and symptoms and its treatment to increase awareness and reduce the stigma associated with the disease.

For this reason, we have launched our first ever Pinktober Bundle that contains our top 3 bestsellers that are formulated for all skin types. The bundle contains Flawless Glow Face Wash, Flawless Glow NEW Scrub, and Flawless Glow Cream. With the Arvelon Cares initiative, we strive to assist and support those who are battling cancer, especially women who face challenges with this potentially fatal disease.

Breast Cancer Awareness is not just a month. We, at Arvelon, extend all our love and support to cancer warriors that have fought the battle through sheer willpower, strength, and hope.
